Daniel Bolda(1983) was born in Berlin, Germany, and grew up in Athens, Greece. He studied film in Denmark. At his early years he worked as an assistant director, casting director in shorts and feature films. The last decade works as a film director in tv commercials. He directed his first short film, MUFFIN (2017) and WHEN I SMILE MY EYES CLOSE (2020), which premiered at Cork International Film Festival. MALDIVES is his debut feature film.
